Družina Mozetič, tedanji gospodar Blaž mlajši, je na sedanjem posestvu v Renčah, v spodnji vipavski dolini, zasadil prvo trto leta 1898. Od takrat dalje se naša družina ukvarja z vinogradništvom in vinarstvom.
Leta 1968 smo začeli s širitvijo vinogradniških površin in zasajati sortne trse katerih prvi izbor sta bila malvazija in merlot. Po letu 1980, ko je sin Aldo prevzel družinsko kmetijo, smo začeli s širitvijo in posodabljanjem vinogradov kakor tudi vinske kleti. V vseh teh letih ni bil glavni cilj povečevanje pridelave ampak na danih površinah in lokaciji doseči maksimalno kakovost naših vin.
Smo manjše družinsko vinarstvo, ki verjame v naravne metode predelave. Prepričani smo, da je vrhunska kakovost vin možna le ob popolnem poznavanju vseh podrobnosti narave in popolni predanosti. Naša vina so naravna in so pridelana z vso pazljivostjo, da bi bila ljudem prijazna in všečna. Vsa naša vina so pridelana po francoski metodi »battonage« (mešanje finih droži v vinu med zorenjem). Na ta način uspevamo dosegati prijeten in nežen vonj ter gladek in poln okus naših vin.  

 

The Mozetič family, the master of the estate at that time Blaz junior, planted the first vine in the current estate at Renče, in the lower area of Vipava valley, in 1898. Since then, our family has been engaged in viticulture and wine production. In 1968, our family began to expand the wine-growing areas and plant varieties of vines, whose first choice was Malvasia and Merlot. After 1980, when the son Aldo took over the family estate, the family began to expand and modernize the vineyards and the wine cellar. In all these years, the main goal was not to increase the production, but to achieve the maximum quality of our wines on the available vineyard surfaces and locations. We are a small family winery that believes in natural processing methods. We are convinced that the top quality wine is possible only with the full knowledge of all the details of the nature and complete dedication. Our wines are natural, they are produced with all care with the aim to be friendly and pleasant to people. All our wines are produced according to the French method "battonage" (mixing fine lees in wine during its maturation). This is the way we achieve a pleasant and gentle smell and a smooth and full flavor of our wines.
